What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your browser. Some are essential for the site to work; others track usage so we can improve the site. We disclose every cookie category below.
Cookies we use
Essential (always on)
| Name | Purpose | Retention | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
gclid | Stores the Google Ads click ID in sessionStorage so we can attribute a lead submission to the paid campaign that brought you to the site. | Session (cleared when you close the tab) | First-party, technical |
cookie-notice-dismissed | Stores your dismissal of the cookie notice in localStorage so we do not re-display the notice on every page load. | Up to 12 months | First-party, technical |
These cookies do not require consent because they are necessary for the site and the RFQ form to function.
Analytics (opt-out by dismissing the cookie notice)
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes unique users. | 2 years |
_ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics 4 | Persists session state. | 2 years |
_gid | Google Analytics (legacy) | Distinguishes users within a 24h window. | 24 hours |
We configure GA4 with IP anonymization. We do not pass personally-identifying data (name, email, phone) from the RFQ form into GA4. Event parameters we do send: processing_type, incoterm, country, source_page, quantity.
Third-party interactions
Clicking the WhatsApp floating-action button opens a new tab at wa.me. WhatsApp (owned by Meta) may set its own cookies when you land there. That happens outside our site and is governed by WhatsApp's terms.
How to opt out
