Who we are
HAS Rice Pakistan is the rice export division of the Haroon Abdul Sattar trading family. The family has been in food trade in Karachi since 1962. Rice exports began in 2005, initially with IRRI-6 and Super Kernel varieties; 1121 Basmati joined the portfolio in 2013 as the variety reached commercial maturity in Punjab.
Today we run a Karachi head office with dispatch and documentation, and Punjab milling and parboiling facilities close to paddy sources in Hafizabad, Gujranwala, and Sheikhupura districts. Capacity runs 150 MT/day across White, Sella, Golden Sella, and Steam lines.

From paddy intake through color sorting to container loading, every lot of 1121 moves through our own mill. Pre-shipment inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, or Intertek is included at 5 FCL MOQ. First-pass inspection rate: 99%.
